Cash Containers & Coin Tills
The No. 1289 Lock can be supplied with locked or unlocked cash tills.

When spare locked cash tills are ordered, hand of Lock must be specified.

Security Bar Fixing
The security bar is fitted flush with the face of the door and fixed by 3 screws which pass through the bottom of the lock.

The special lip on the cash container completely conceals all fixing screws.

61, 1288 & 1289 only
Auto Hinge
Doors must be fitted with special hinges to ensure that the door closes fully ready for the next customer. See note on "Fitting of Locks" on Technical Information page.

We recommend fitting the Auto Hinge which is a single action door closer with a spring and check mechanism incorporated in the hinges themselves.

The hydraulic check hinge has a regulator screw that adjusts the closing speed of the door. The spring hinge produces ample torque to close the door effectively against the striking plate.

The hinges are manufactured to the highest standards using best grade materials and the surface specially treated to ensure the longest possible life. The fatigue limit is far superior to coil spring door closers.

Please contact Locwil for advice on your choice of Auto Hinge. This will depend on the weight and construction of the door together with whether it is interior or exterior.
